This reminds me of Undertale, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and Dragon Quest. I like the look of it, and I'm very tempted to buy it.

Thanks for the kind comment. The Battling system is inspired by Dragon Quest and Pokemon. Also if you like dungeon puzzles like in 2D zelda games then I think you'll enjoy this game

Well, that convinced me. When I get paid, I'll definitely buy this game and give it a try.

Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy it!

Good looking game.

Thank you :)

This looks like it might have a NES rom.. does it?

(+1)

It doesn't. I'm going to think about making a NES project though! :D

What a beautiful game. I wish you the best of luck and will be sharing this game to my blog. I want as many updates as possible!

Thanks for reviewing the game, I'm glad you liked it. If you have a twitter I can retweet the link to your blog. I'm always updating and there will be plenty of more updates. Btw this game was done by me (just one person).

Hey Stello, yeah after playing the demo we couldn't believe it was done by one person! Really took us back to a time when video games were unique. Much love and we can't wait for future updates! Supporting indie developers is important to us.

I noticed in the demo that if I choose full screen it doesn't save the choice as next time I run the game it is back to Windowed mode. Not a big deal at all but I figured I would let you know. I was using the Linux demo.

My system:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X | 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 | MSI RX 580 8GB Gaming X | Mesa 18.3.2 | Solus | Kernel 4.20.3-108.current

Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it.

I recommend adding a short demo version, especially since it's not finished yet.

This game is looking really impressive thus far. I am curious will we get a steam key purchasing this and what did you use making this game?

(1 edit) (+1)

Thank you! Yes, you will. I'll try to setup the keys very soon (done ;) ). I used Unity.

This game looks amazing. I'm loving everything about it visually. Did you put it on Steam?

With your style you could make some rpgmaker assets and make money off it.

Thank you so much friend. Yes this game is on Steam. I'm currently making an RPG UI/Icon pack but it's 1 bit atm. I will then make 8 bit and 16 bit versions.

This looks great! I'm interested in buying, but would rather wait till it's finished for an RPG. Do you know when it'll be complete?

(+1)

In 3-4 months from now it is likely that Knights of Tartarus will exit out of Early Access.

The art is excellent :)

Thank you very much. ;)

The assets are available for buying in itch.io?

I'm specially interested in buying the enemies (frontal perspective).

No, sorry. But if you need art  send me an email at stellohexis@gmail.com
